These two cabinets of English Walnut stand either side of a black marble fire place. A speaker is housed centrally in each. The stereo equipment and storage for tapes and CD’s in one, a sliding lattice fronted compartment for the television in the other. There are also four large, square drawers for videos.

“The design became very simple and rather Japanese in appearance. This gave me the idea for the sliding frames to break up the dominating shape of the TV screen.”
