All the pieces on this site are one-off commissions. Nicky has designed and built them, inspired by discussion with individual clients. He feels the excitement is to make something unique that satisfies his client's practical needs and which they both feel looks really good.

The work often requires visual research in books and museums, drawings, models and the sourcing of special materials. Nicky explains "This takes time and means that some pieces may be more expensive than a mass-produced product, but they will be appreciated for a lot longer, sometimes for generations I hope!

He's in the process of designing some simpler, limited edition pieces, based on the most popular "one-offs", starting with the Syrian Chair."
