This cabinet stands over 8 fee t (2.5 metres) high and holds 1400 CD’s. The idea came from a roll of music manuscr ipt. It is designed asymmetrically to give a feeling of movement and balance. The interior structure of verticals and shelves are made from acrylic sheet, fine sanded to make them opaque like a glass from the freezer. The outer shell is made from thin strips of Poplar wood set in clear casting resin. There is a light set into the top.
